Just like cars and houses, people also have a taste for toilets. As you can see in the video and pictures aboce, people do give special attention to their toilets. There is nothing wrong with it until there is a clog and the toilet overflows or needs to be removed.
Over the years we have seen many toilets, as you can imagine, maybe more toilets than anyone reading this post. But, looking at the toilets in different parts of the world, we can easily say, we have not seen much. The design and material looks awesome in the pictures. Wonder if these toilets have an auto unclogging function as-well. So far we found a Swiss self cleaning toilet.

How about the Australian toilets? Do they really swirl in opposite direction? Looking at these videos it looks like the Australian toilets do not swirl at all. Yes, it is news for us. We were hoping to see it swirl it in the opposite direction.

Tree roots are the number one reason for sewer back ups!

Every sewer gets clogged, it is just a matter of time. There are many tips you can follow to prevent a sewer back up, but what exactly do you do when your sewer back ups? First thing is first,

Do not attempt to open the sewer caps, until or unless you have a sewer cleaning machine ready to be used.

Try to limit the water usage in the house. This is so that the clogged sewer does not cause a flood in your basement or other lowest spot.

If your sewer backed up through the basement shower or toilet, put some old towels or news papers around them. This will help stopping the sewer water from spreading all over, in case someone uses the water by mistake.

Keep children away from the sewer water. Sewer water contains numerous types of germs and diseases.

Open the windows to allow the air to circulate and prevent the sewer smell from spreading through your house.

Have cleaning chemicals and disinfectants ready and use them as soon as you have your sewer clog taken care of.

If the sewer water backs up and reaches your walls, it is highly recommended to call professional cleaners to disinfect the backed up area.

You can always email or call your trusty $49.95 Any Sewer or Drain for any kind of sewer or drain related issue.

Thank you

It is not very common but every now and then we do run into jobs where clean outs are missing. What are clean outs? A sewer cleanout is an access point from where the sewer pipe can be serviced. Most of the residential and commercial sewer clean outs are usually 4” in diameter. More than one cleanout is required for longer sewer pipes. Having multiple clean outs on a longer pipe makes it easier to snake the line and get rid of the clog. Without having access to a cleanout the mechanic has to explore other options such as snaking the line from the vent or by removing a toilet bowl etc and these other options make it harder for the sewer mechanic to unclog the problem.
This is a hanging sewer line with the main trap easily accessible. In this case, where the main sewer trap is accessible, having a cleanout every 100ft is usually a good idea. With the help of clean outs, a home owner can sometimes successfully unclog his sewer line himself without any help from a plumber or a sewer or drain company. All you have to know is which direction the clog is in and have a rented sewer cleaning machine. If it costs more than $49.95 to rent a sewer cleaning machine you can always give us a call 24/7. You will save money and will have your sewer unclogged the right way the first time. Call us today.
