Our mechanic had to snake the line a few times before it unclogged. While the mechanic was snaking the sewer, the rain water kept bringing in more water, putting pressure on the mechanic to unclog the sewer before the customers basement got flooded. Yes, we know, this blog is not about a TV show, but we just had to write about Susan Boyle. She did surprise anyone and everyone that saw/heard her sing. As the expressions of the audience showed, they never in a million years would have though that Susan Boyle would sing like that. Simply amazing.

Flooded Sewer?

This is a floor drain located in a boiler room. Water is backing up here because it is the lowest spot in the house. We know it is a sewer back up, because when the toilets are flushed we can see the dirty water coming out of the floor drain. To unclog this problem, you have to gain access to the house trap.
You can try to snake it from the floor drain itself, but, good luck with that. Snaking from the floor drain itself will be a waste of time as you more than likely will not be able to unclog the sewer via the floor drain.
This particular job also had a flood in the back yard due to the sewer back up. Once the sewer was unclogged, this floor drain along with the back yard drain was unclogged.
