There is a new addition to the numerous problems faced by humans. The swine influenza virus that almost always effected pigs has mutated into a form that can effect humans. The worst part is that this disease has spread worldwide in a very short span of time. So far there is no vaccine for this virus, even though WHO is working hard to develop a vaccine as soon as possible.
Almost everyone is at risk. So far, New York city has been hardest hit in our country. The health and government officials have advised to avoid crowded areas and pay special attention to personal hygiene. The news and media coverage has been focusing on swine virus for the past few days. It is highly recommended that everyone stays informed. For accurate information about this disease or any other disease you should consider visiting the official CDC (Center for disease control) website or visit the official pandemic flu website.

Though the name of the virus is ‘Swine flu”, the swine producers insist that it is safe to eat swine. It may be safe to eat swine, but it will be hard for the people to eat swine after a disease has been named after it. A few years back we saw the beef market crash due to a “mad cow disease”, same might apply to the swine flu. The swine producers are bound to be affected by this disease, which means, possibly more job losses to the pork producers and the people associated with the pork industry.

Many countries have already imposed bann on pork imports. Egypt has ordered all pigs to be killed (hopefully they are not planning on exporting the pork). But on the other hand many say that the name “Swine Flu” is incorrect and the swine flu should actually be called H1N1 strain. We heard President Obama saying H1N1 as-well.

Just the main sewer line, kitchen sinks also get clogged, and what better price to pay to get your sewer or sink unclogged then $49.95. Our mechanics are experienced and have been dispatched to jobs that mechanics from other sewer and drain companies were not able to unclog. This sink had been clogged for a while and the customer had been using chemicals until the kitchen sink totally stopped up. He got a number for a sewer company from the yellow pages and called them, but they wanted $125 minimum to unclog a kitchen sink.
The customer’s son found our website  and informed his father about our low price. The customer called us and confirmed the price right over the phone and when the mechanic completed the job and gave the customer a receipt with a total of $49.95, he was amazed. The mechanic even cleaned up after completing the job.
We are used to the amazement customers show us :) , but it makes us happy because we know we saved our customers money.

The sewer water probably carries the most types of diseases and bacteria than any other place. You can never be careful enough. To prevent sewer back ups, you should get your sewer line snaked as a preventative measure. The following sewer was clogged due to tampons and grease. Our mechanic had to snake the line a few times before it unclogged. While the mechanic was snaking the sewer, the rain water kept bringing in more water, putting pressure on the mechanic to unclog the sewer before the customers basement got flooded. Our mechanics are always concerned about our customers, and this mechanic is no different. He unclogged the sewer before it could overflow and cause damage to the customers basement.

Clogged sewer is a problem that people want to avoid, since a clogged sewer means, smell and sewage. The following video shows that a clogged sewer line can build up quite a bit of a pressure. In this case, the sewer back caused water to backup into the back yard, floor drains, basement shower and the basement toilet. If the mechanics had not kept his hands on the cap, the sewer water probably would have been all over him. It is very important to be careful while opening the sewer caps. In rare cases you can get injured if you get hit by the sewer cap.

Yes, we know, this blog is not about a TV show, but we just had to write about Susan Boyle. She did surprise anyone and everyone that saw/heard her sing. As the expressions of the audience showed, they never in a million years would have though that Susan Boyle would sing like that. Simply amazing.

We can relate our sewer service to the surprise the judges and the audience got, many of our customers do not believe our prices until we actually do the job. Many other sewer and drain companies simply wonder how and why we have kept our prices so low for so long. It will be 14 years in June 2009. Our answer is simple, “keep the customers happy and have them coming back again and again.” We love to see our customers save money by using our services.
We use similar equipment, if not better, as used by sewer and drain companies across the United States. We guarantee all work we do and the best part is, we do not charge extra for jobs done on weekends, nights or holidays. Any hour of the day and any day of the week, A$49.95 Any Sewer or Drain, Inc will unclog your sewer or drain and charge you $49.95 for any one sewer or drain.
